CUSTOM BADGE REELS: Full Color Process Printing |
|||||||||
|
Full color process printing also
referred to a four color printing allows the reproduction of multi color
logos and designs on badge reels. Imprint is actually first applied to a
sheet of durable white or clear adhesive nylon and then applied to the
recessed area on the front of the badge reel. The result is a high
resolution image that won't rub or scratch off. The vinyl media used is
the same as used to bumper stickers and other outside applications. The
image to be printed is dissected into four primary colors cyan (blue),
magenta, yellow and black (also referred to as CMYK). When recombined
these four colors can produce millions of colors. The actual design
being reproduced contains these colors in various percentages. Machines
used for producing full color images will also contour cut around the
printed image. The contour line and shape (ie round, square, oblong)
matches the imprint area on the badge reel or other object. Another
method for producing custom badge reels is
pad printing. Today full color process printing is the method of
choice for producing custom badge reels. More Badge Reel Articles |
